Level 1 in Cyber Security Awareness

This Level 1 qualification introduces learners to the essentials of organisational cyber security and the human factors that influence it. Learners will learn to recognise common threats, adopt everyday protective behaviours such as strong pass-phrases, multi-factor authentication and secure data handling, and follow local procedures to report concerns promptly.

The programme frames risk using the confidentiality–integrity–availability (CIA) model and signposts recognised UK guidance so that good practice can be applied in real workplace settings; the qualification is ideal for induction or refresher training and supports progression to Level 2 study in digital support or cyber security.
