The TLM Level 3 Certificate in Human Factors in Emerging Technologies builds on prior study of digital systems and ethics by developing deeper knowledge of how human behaviour, organisational culture, and governance shape the safe and responsible use of technology.

Qualification

On successful completion of the course you will be receive a Nationally recognised Level 2 Certificate in Human Factors in Emerging Technologies.

Course Content (inclusive but not limited to:)

Learners gain foundational knowledge and practical awareness of workplace health and safety. Key content includes:

  • Understanding roles, responsibilities and reporting lines for health and safety

  • Recognising common hazards and selecting straightforward control measures

  • Basics of safe manual handling, use of equipment and workstation setup

  • Identifying and responding to common workplace emergencies

  • Awareness of PPE, incident reporting and documentation requirements

  • Using simple risk-checking approaches for routine tasks and changing situations

  • Developing confidence to complete well-defined safety tasks under guidance

The course is suitable for beginners and those new to formal training, and supports safe working practices across a range of workplace settings.

The course requires 144 guided learning hours.
